building muscle
rainbowmnky asked:

I am a powerlifter and have done pretty well building muscle on my own so far but was wondering if anyone knew of any supplements (for women or ok for both men and women) that would help me along in this.

Protein shakes. 1 a day, don’t overdo it. And try No Xplode. I use it now and it works great. Gives you that extra edge and endurance. You can get it at gnc. But protein is the best. try optimum nutrition whey protein. Good luck

You have to eat more to build mass. It’s that simple. Try complex carbs and protein. Whey protein is best taken right after or just before your workout. Also you can try creatine, which pushes more water into your muscles and allows you to work out longer.

You probably aren’t building mass BECAUSE you are a powerlifter.

Powerlifters are generally relatively small given the amount of weight they lift. Powerlifters focus on getting the maximum out of a few reps and generally train with heavy weights for a few reps.

Endurance athletes do the opposite. They train with light weights and many reps to build endurance in the fast-twitch muscle fiber.

You need to work in the middle to actually build mass. Concentrate on 3 sets of weights that you can left 8-10 times with good form.

Also, genetics plays a role and some people with fast metabolism have a hard time gaining mass.

Amino acids and creatine are good ones. There are quite a few that help though.

I was almost shocked how much heavier I was able to lift after I started supplementing with creatine. Although, I only gained about 5 lbs. My body fat percentage fell from about 13 to about 11. And I figure my total muscle gain was probably more than 5 lbs. In any even, I became able to lift a lot heavier.

Protein Rich with low carbohydrate, low sugar, low fat,low salt nutrition with one liter of water for every 44lbs of body weight.is the answer to your present condition, depending on your condition-underweight(have after each regular meal),overweight(replace two meals have one meal of your choice) or normal weight(replace one meal have tow meals of your choice), as the usage differs with each condition.

Yeah the best most natural way to go is Bee Pollen combined with Bee Royal Jelly, see the royal jelly is used by the queen of the hive that’s why she is much larger in size and very fertile so the royal jelly with the lifting will enhance the growth and the Bee Pollen will cut lean mass muscle you can read more on they have some testimonials and articles on it … It does work also for over weight people to loose weight because the high protein content cuts fat and increases muscle …good luck
