Also are the hardcore fomulas better when normal? How many times a day should the supplement be taken and at what times? This is a very controversial subject but I’m hoping to get at least an idea of the best thing to buy and the best way to go about taking it. thanks a lot in advance

a lot of it has to do with your age and activity level on a daily basis. you should try to eat many small meals per day, so if you eat breakfast at 7 and lunch at noon, a protein shake between would be good. also, take one about a half hour before working out and immediately afterwards. for the most part protein is protein….some have glutamene…so get into your bloodsteam quicker than others…..and some have larger serving sizes than others. just go grab a popular brand at a gnc, try it, experiment with some others for the one that fits your needs.

Don’t get caught up with all the product hype. One example is that nitro-tech hardcore supplement. If you’re really new to the supplement thing i recommend you buy 100% Whey ON by Optimum. It’s the staple protein supplement among gym goers. You should also understand that supplements aren’t magic formulas that’ll make you buff in a week or 2. But if you work out religeously (WITH OUT OVERDOING IT as it WILL cause you to be CATABOLIC) and take more or less 1gram of protein per pound of body weight (which includes the FOOD that you eat and NOT just your protein supplement) for 7 weeks or so, you’ll deffinitly get the results you want. Work out 3 or 4 times a week and not more than 2hrs each day. And it’s ESSENTIAL that you get LOTS of sleep ‘coz muscles grow during rest and NOT during you’re workout. I can’t even belive I typed all of this down! You’re lucky I was bored when I read you’re question. haha Besides, I’ve been through the same problem you’re having now and this was more than enough to get me what I wanted. I’m sure this’ll help you with your dilema as well. Go for it!
