Yes you should be doing both but what you have to realise if you have been doing it for a while your body may be use to it which happens, after that you have to increase the intensity to shock the body and as a result it will react to it by burning more energy (which will ideally be fat if you have been eating right) and getting stronger. Overall cardio would be better as this is what burns the most fat.</description>
