watch your simple carbs. try to pass on the white flour and sugar. stick to whole grains and veggies as much as possible for your carbs. (they are less likely to be stored in the body as fat.) also watch your bad fats – the ones that you get from fast food, junk food, fatty cuts of meat, etc. and keep your lean protein up. also, you want to start training to trim fat, so start pushing the amount of reps you do for any given exercise a little bit higher than what you would normally do. keep in mind that it’s totally normal to put on some fat while you’re building muscle. it’s really tough to build muscle and lose fat at the same time, so take it one step at a time and be patient.

hey whats up? my name is mike and to answer your question as best as possible, you should first try to stay under a 1,500 calorie diet a day eat 6 times a day small meals all adding up to about 1500 calories, DON’T EAT after 7:00pm. when ever you eat make sure you know how much calories your consuming, to eat six times a day is not hard. For example 1st meal is breakfast eat healthy!, 2nd meal would be a protien shake this help build muscle, 3rd meal lunch, 4th meal protien shake, 5th meal dinner and last meal another protien shake. Take one gram of protien per body pound for example if you weight 150 pounds you must consume 150 grams of protien within that day to build lean muscle, so for each shake you consume as one of your small meals thier should be about 50 grams of protien in each shake. 100% whey protien is the best each container will tell you how much grams of protien are in each scoop depending on the brand you buy (go to GNC). protien helps heal your muscles after you worked out and it makes them grow, so while they are growing obviously this is great but they wont show if thier is alot of body fat around them so dont forget to do at least 30 to 40 min of cardio before workout (treadmill) this will make you lose the body fat, then go workout and build muscle. working out 4 to 5 days a week and then resting to days is great, but at least try to workout 4 times a week 30 min on the treadmill and 1 hour in and 30 min lifting and your will be good. be consistent don’t give up because i didn’t and im happy with the way i look and feel, im just giving you some good advice. Good luck and god bless.

PS. fast food does count as any of your meals if you eat fast food for one of you meals you failed.
