Kevin Plus asked:

I’m pretty skinny and I want to put some muscles on. I’ve read from a reliable source that if you cycle fast, you can build muscles. BUT I don’t want to lose weight, quite the contrary, so what’s your view on this?

cycling will build muscles in you lower body i.e. leg’s, but at the same time you would be burning calories, which you said you don’t want to do. If you still want to cycle just eat enough to counter the calories that you would be burning off.

HIGH resistance and cycling slooow (but as fast as you can against the resistance) will build muscle, but it will mostly only effect your legs, and you will invariblly be using your abs a little, but not much, you will want to use light weights (and I mean light – like 1-3 lb weights) with lots of reps for arms and if you belong to a gym you can use the ab machines, if not then just do cruches (and not just straight up and down, to the sides also.) You Will probably end up trimming down, But gaining weight since muscle weights more than fat (even if you aren’t fat there is still fat on your body)
