My only question now is how much weight should I lose before I take focus off of burning fat and instead to building muscle?
Thanks very much to anyone that can help.

Building muscle will help you burn fat and calories. Do both.
The best thing to do is to excercise while you are on a diet. The excercising will help tone up your body as you lose the weight and it will help you lose the weight as you are burning fat and calories. You end up with a better body and less fat if you work out, even work on building muscles right from the beginning. Remember muscles weigh more than so don’t become one of those people who is attached to a scale.
