building muscle
Michael D asked:

I’m trying to build muscle/mass and i know i have to eat a lot which mean i will gain weight but i plan to lose it all later on. So should i be eating a lot or carbs or proteins? What should i eat before and after a workout? I’m on a 1,700 calorie diet.
So then how come A LOT!!! of people say eat more carbs?

Both, Protein would help you buiuld and carbs would help you maintain it so your metabolism does not elimintate it. Carbs also fuel your workout to help you lift more. I suggest being on a 2,500 calorie diet to get more results.
