bmirish898 asked:

I am a teenager and I want to gain muscle. I do not want to go on a french fry and dessert diet though cause I do not want to gain fat. My dad says milkshakes would be good cause they would turn into muscle since I am so active. Is that true?

Protein shakes are good yes but not just on their own.

The amino acids in protein are for the growth and repair of your body, so you need to be doing exercise that will break down muscle tissue. It is only when your muscle becomes damaged that it grows back twice as strong, hence muscle growth.

Work out your bmi and how much protein you would need each day, gl.

Milkshakes are trash. Eat protein or drink a protein shake instead.

Milkshakes are nothing but sugar and fat.
